About FUGENIN Temple
| [Koyasan Shingon Buddhism special head temple FUGENIN]
FUGENIN Temple is located almost in the center of Koyasan. Its origin dates back to the Taiji era (12th century), when Imperial Prince Kakuo climbed Mt. The principal image is Fugen Bosatsu, a disciple of Kobo Daishi, created by Kegonji Temple.
The large communal baths at the temple lodgings are filled with mineral-rich water that springs from the Koya mountain range. A yukata, toothbrush and towel are provided in the room. "Meal" is a full-fledged vegetarian cuisine centered on mountain delicacies such as Koyasan's specialty sesame tofu.

train:
From Nankai Electric Railway Osaka "Namba Station" to "Gokurakubashi Station", it takes 1 hour and 40 minutes by limited express (4 round trips per day) and about 2 hours (every 30 minutes) by express train.
A cable car (5 minutes) connects Gokurakubashi Station to Koyasan Station, and to Yamauchi, take a bus to the Senjuin bus stop, or take a taxi.
